Out of this world.

At first I thought $95 was pretty steep for a lake cruise. But now that I have been on it- I would have to say it was worth it.
Greg out captain was very knowledgeable telling us heaps about the lake it's history and surrounds. The wildlife and birdlife were abundant and very visible including the fresh water crocs. Take heaps of photos as we did the sunset cruise and the photo opportunities are amazing. Swimming off the back of the boat in this huge lake was breathtaking and being served champagne while padding in the water - well what can I say Devine. Truly worth the dollars to gain such an experience.

Fishing Charter

We had a great time on Lake Argyle with Steve our skipper. He was good fun, did everything possible to get us a catch, and delightfully assisted me bringing in the biggest fish of the afternoon! 😊

Swimming with crocs! Loved it!

Wow, what a trip highlight. I think for at least 5 minutes I was the ONLY person swimming in Lake Argyle. I had the lake to myself (oh, and the 30,000+ freshwater crocodiles - harmless). The morning tour was awesome. Learned so much, relaxed and took in the breathtaking views and sheer size of the lake. Coffee and biscuits on board and a great skipper! Highly recommend.

  2. Hi Greg
I went on the Sunset tour in late September 2015. It was an absolute highlight of my trip to the wonderful Kimberley-so incredibly beautiful, diverse and interesting. I enjoyed learning about the lake and the wildlife in and around it, particularly communing with the Archer fish and seeing all the majestic birds going about their lives. Having a swim in the lake and partaking of the drinks and snacks floating by was divine; one of those moments I’ll never forget. There were also two bush fires that added another set of colours to the sunset vista.
One question-Did we go past an island called Spider Island? My Nana, who encouraged me to spend time in the Kimberley talks about a small isle in L. Argyle that is full of huge spiders. Perhaps she’s having me on…
Thankyou so very much for a gorgeous tour. If I come to the Kimberley again (which I’d love to do) I’ll do the Birdwatching tour.
    Best wishes
    Sally
